(full-time only)Relocation Assistance (full-time only) -Overview: -Surgical Trauma "3A" is a 33-bed unit, fast-paced med-surg telemetry unit which focuses on adult post- operative and trauma patients. Nurse patient ratios are: Days 5:1, Nights 6:1. On our unit we offer you the opportunity to develop excellent critical thinking skills as well as use a wide variety of clinical skills including:

Head-to-toe assessmentsReading and posting telemetry stripsIV insertionsCatheter, trach, and ostomy careWound careChest tubesMercy is currently hiring exceptional nurses for the Surgical Trauma 3A -unit! Available positions are as follows:

Full-time Availability
Part-time Availability
Day Shift (7am-7pm)
Night Shift (7pm-7am) - Strongly desired! -Qualifications: -Education: Graduate of a state approved professional nurse program.Licensure: Current RN licensure with Missouri State Board of Nursing or current RN Missouri temporary work permit.Certifications: Must have a current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or complete a course within their probation period. -For additional questions, please email Allison Larsen at Allison.Larsen@Mercy.Net - Mercy has determined this is a safety-sensitive position. -The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function of this job.
