The Surgical 3B unit has 32 patient beds, with a nurse to patient ratio of 1-6 on days and nights. This unit is a fast-paced medical surgical telemetry floor which focuses on pre- and post-surgical patients, with a focus on GI, Urology and ENT surgeries. The Surgical 3B unit offers the opportunity to learn and perfect critical nursing skills such as:Head to toe assessmentsTelemetry monitoring -NG tubesIV insertions -CBI's -Chest tubes, Trach and ostomy careDrainsWound CareAvailable positions are as follows:

  • Day Shift (7am-7pm)
  • Night Shift (7pm-7am) -
