  • Mercy Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Telemetry (Tele) to fill a position at Mercy Hospital Springfield.
  • This is a Travel position for the Medical 6B floor.
  • The role involves delivering quality patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Responsible for coordinating patient care with other departments to optimize patient care and comfort.
  • Functions within the scope of nursing preparation and established guidelines of nursing practice, as well as complying with the Missouri Nurse Practice Act, Mercy Code of Conduct, Mercy Mission and Values, and Mercy Service Standards.
    • Job Requirements
    • Current RN License eligible for licensure in the state of Missouri or currently licensed in the state of Missouri.
    • At least 1 year of experience in Telemetry (Tele), inpatient setting.
    • Must be able to work on a rotational basis including Days and Nights with variable patient ratios.
      • Schedule Information
      • Shift: Nights, 19:00 - 07:00
      • Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 - must be indicated on submission form.
      • Assignment Length: 13 weeks.
      • Weekend Hours: As required by the facility.
      • No Call Requirements specified.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Number of Beds in Unit: 32
        • Patient Ratios Vary: Days 1:5-1:6, Nights 1:6-1:7; ratios are not guaranteed.
        • Equipment used includes Tele, Lift equipment, IV pumps, and tube feeding pumps.
        • EMR in use: EPIC
        • Type of Patients on Unit: Med, med tele, respiratory.
          • Additional Details
          • Must utilize the nursing process to provide patient care.
          • Expected to maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
