  • Job Details
  • The Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse provides nursing care to the patient during pre and post-procedure phases.
  • The RN assists in performing interventional procedures like cardiac catheterizations, valvuloplasties, angioplasties, and stents.
  • Other procedures include inserting pacemakers and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs).
  • The nurse initiates or maintains medication drips to manage the patient hemo-dynamically and conducts point-of-care lab testing as ordered.
    • Job Requirements
    • RN (MO or Compact)
    • BLS
    • ACLS
    • 2 years experience in specialty
    • Previous travel experience preferred
      • Schedule Information
      • Shift: DAYS - 7am - 7:30pm
      • 3x12s, 36 hours/week
      • On-call shifts will be one night through the week and every third weekend
      • Weekends and holidays as needed
        • Additional Details
        • CoxHealth is currently requiring the flu vaccine, please ensure your traveler is willing to obtain if offered prior to submitting.
        • MUST live at least 100 miles away from the facility to which they are applying.
        • If previously employed by CoxHealth, must have been gone for at least 2 years.
