Mercy Springfield ClinicsHybrid, work from home opportunity!Monday - Friday: 8 AM - 4:30 PMNo weekends or holidays!Overview:The Diabetes Educator plays a crucial role in providing comprehensive education and support to patients diagnosed with diabetes within the hospital and/or outpatient setting. This position involves collaborating with healthcare teams to develop and implement personalized diabetes management plans, empowering patients to achieve optimal health outcomes and improve their quality of life. -Registered Dietitian -Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Health Education, or related field.Certification: Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) credential required.Experience: Clinical experience in diabetes management and education, preferably in a hospital or outpatient setting.Registered Nurse Qualifications: -
  Licensure: RN licensed in the state of practice. Experience: 2-4 years current nursing experience with a strong background in diabetes education.Preferred Education: BSN Preferred Certifications: Certification by the National Certification Board for Diabetes Educators is preferred to obtain within 1-2 years.Key Mercy Benefits:
