All duties are performed in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications (LevelII):0-1+ years of experience/Outpatient Centers and Rural Locations/May or may not be a 24-hour opportunity location opportunitylocation.Education:High-School Diploma or GED arerequired. You may be asked toprovideproof of education.Licensure:None.Certifications:American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required.Experience:1. The Endoscopy Technologist IIis able tosuccessfully and independentlyparticipatein lowto moderateacuitycasesAND High-leveldisinfection. Theycancontribute to all aspects of theday-to-dayoperations of the Endoscopy Suite.May not have experience but will be working in a 24-hour location that performs complex cases OR May have some experience and is working in an Outpatient-only facility. May perform as a Primary preceptor for new co-workers and/or students after full competencyvalidated.2. Completes both basic competencies: Endoscopy Tech in Scope Room AND Endoscopy Tech in Procedure.Other:Must understand English both written and spoken, must be able toperform job-related functions safely and successfully, with or without reasonable accommodation required by federal, state, or local law.
