Position: Care Companion (Patient Sitter) -Department: Nursing Services/Float Pool -Shift: Full-Time Nights, 36hr/wk, 7pm-7am -Flat rate of $15.00/hr for this position -We're a Little Different -Our mission is clear. Assists in the provision of a safe and clean environment. Promotes the therapeutic environment and the efficiency of the nursing team. Can provide safe patient transport throughout the facility as directed. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma, G.E.D, CNA/CPCT certification or enrolled in a healthcare career program through their high school curriculum, and/or a current co-worker of Mercy.
• Other: Working conditions, mental and physical requirements: Ability to sit for long periods of time remaining alert without distractions from personal business or other personal diversions.
