Must have both licenses!Must be willing to help out as a CNA!Essential Functions of Certified Medication Technician (CMT):Performs resident care responsibilities in a manner conducive to their safety and comfortAdministers medications as ordered by a physician under the supervision of a licensed nurseMust demonstrate knowledge of the "five rights" of medication administrationAdministers and records all medication given to residents based on their specific chartNotifies appropriate licensed staff when a resident complains of pain.May take and record vital signs of residents as assigned or as may be required by certain medicationsRecords the administration of medications and/or treatments appropriatelyAnswers resident call lights, anticipates resident's needs and makes rounds to assigned residentObserve for and report any reactions and/or side effects of medications to a licensed nurse on the appropriate shiftPerforms all aspects of resident care in an environment that optimizes resident safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/healthcare errorsSupport and maintain a culture of safety and qualityAdministers PRN medicationsReports and when appropriate, records any changes observed in condition or behavior of residents and unusual incidentsPerforms other duties as assignedCertified Medication Technician (CMT) may start as early as NEXT WEEK!Join us as a Certified Medication Technician (CMT) at Springfield Skilled Center today!Walk-in Interviews Welcome Monday to Friday between 10:30 am and 4 pm!APPLY NOW!EEO Statement:Our facility provides equal employment opportunities.
